John Q. Doan, CEO and Cofounder

John is dedicated to ensuring that autonomous vehicles and shared use mobility are accessible, equitable and affordable for people with disabilities and seniors. John is a refugee from Vietnam, who immigrated to the US with his mom and older brother. He has provided testimony on the topic of mobility as a service and autonomous vehicles to the National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Minnesota legislature and a variety of stakeholder groups. From 2011 to 2013, he was a Governor’s appointee to the Metropolitan Council, the Twin Cities Metropolitan Planning Organization and its largest transit and paratransit provider. John honorably served as a Civil Engineer Corps officer in the US Navy, Vice President for a national consulting firm and graduated with an engineering degree from Carnegie Mellon University and masters degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
